I am a relatively young (45) but experienced pensions professional seeking independent trustee appointments.
Over the years I have been involved in almost all aspects of pensions and investment advice, to both sponsors and trustees. I spent more than 23 years at Punter Southall specialising in pensions consultancy, actuarial advice and investment advice but with significant data, administration, IT and governance responsibilities. I am good at the big picture and the detail. As a truly independent trustee, devoid of outside influence but well connected, I can apply my skills and experience to use for your scheme. A dry sense of humour and strong ethics will help build and maintain good relationships with all parties including employers, scheme members and professional advisers.
Trustee and governance experience whilst employed at Punter Southall includes being Trustee from start to wind-up (1995-2004) of the group’s trust based DC scheme. I also sat on the subsequent pensions governance forum for group pensions from 2002-2012. As a volunteer I was Treasurer to the Keble Association (charity) from 2007-2011 and continue with Trustee duties as at the current date. The Treasurer role widened my actuarial skill set to include aspects of accounting including charity financial statements preparation and independent examination. I have also acted as a FAS caseworker on behalf of the PPF.
Pullan Trustees Limited is my registered company through which I aim to conduct most of my business. Pullan Trustees Limited is registered at Companies House with registration number 08371527.
